Ajith Rajapakse, Deputy Speaker of Parliament announced to the House today (21) that the Speaker endorsed the certificate on the Bills yesterday (20).

Accordingly, Social Security Contribution Levy (Amendment) Bill and Value Added Tax (Amendment) Bill received the assent of the Speaker.
