Yala National Park is renowned for the presence of leopards. In fact it is considered one of the best places in the world to spot them on Safari.

After travelling in Africa for 10 months, going on numerous safaris and only seeing 4 of the BIG 5, we came here to Sri Lanka to try our luck in seeing the illusive leopard. But it’s not only leopards that can be seen in Yala. You can also see elephants, sloth bears, crocodile, mongoose, monkeys, buffalo, deer and so much more.
