International Buddhist Museum is the world’s first International Buddhist Museum. It is located next to the National Museum of Kandy and Temple of the Tooth in Kandy, Sri Lanka. The World Buddhism Museum contains lots of photographs, models and displays illustrating Buddhism around the world. Note that a large number of the statues and other exhibits are actually reproductions. The museum is within the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic complex and can only be accessed via the temple.
